This laid back beach BBQ was the welcome event for a weekend of housewarming festivities in the South of France. We cleared out the usual beach club furniture and replaced it with our own custom-designed low white-washed tables, Boho rugs and comfy pillows. For the lighting we also custom-created Balinese-inspired ‘branch lanterns’ for the occasion.
Guests were asked to come dressed in white and were given a hat upon arrival along with a custom bracelet – pink for the ladies and blue for the men. A steel drum band welcomed guests by playing covers of popular songs songs such as Gangstas Paradise as guests sipped refreshing margaritas, caipirinhas and mojitos.
The chef created a custom South American BBQ of asado with a South American twist paired with refreshing salads.
The house where our clients were holding the next day festivities was once lived in by the French actress Brigitte Bardot so after dinner we projected the movie ‘Et Dieu Créa la Femme’ onto the sail of a catamaran we brought on to the beach specially for that purpose.
